Una visita de un mestre pasó, y otro mestre está por llegar..!

Hace algunas semanas, llegó el Mestre Gladson aquí en Cusco, para participar el batizado del grupo de capoeira Projete Liberdade, el grupo de capoeira más antiguo del Cusco. Nuestro grupo visitó el evento para dar nuestro axé, y conocimos al corazón grandisímo de Mestre Gladson. También hicimos una roda bonita un domingo, donde ni por la lluvia dejamos de jugar..!

Felicitaciones a Estefano y todos los chicos de Projete Liberdade para su energía y excelente desarrollo de la capoeira aquí en Cusco. Les deseo todo lo mejor, ieeeee!

Ahora el evento que he estado esperando hace meses, del grupo ACCAP de Fiorella en Lima, donde llegará nadie menos que el mestre Cobra Mansa, uno de los más grandes mestres de la Capoeira Angola !


Fiorella se ha esmerado en organizar un programa muy variado, con, además de talleres de los movimientos de capoeira, también exponencias, clases de música y más!

Este evento toma lugar en Lima desde el domingo 5 de octubre 2008 hasta el viernes 10 de octubre, en Miraflores.

One mestre's visit has just passed, and another mestre is about to arrive!

A few weeks ago, Cusco received a visit from Mestre Gladson, who came to participate in the batizado of the capoeira group Projete Liberdade, the longest-running group here in Cusco. Our group visited the event to give our axé, and we got to experiment the size of Mestre Gladson's heart. We also did a nice roda together one Sunday, when even clouds and rain couldn't stop us from playing..! Some photos below..

Congratulations to Estefano and all the capoeiristas of Projete Liberdade, for their energy and great development of capoeira here in Cusco. All the best, axé!


Now, the event I've been waiting for for several months, of the Capoeira Angola group ACCAP in Lima, supervised by Fiorella, where the one and only mestre Cobra Mansa is going to arrive, one of the most amazing mestres in Capoeira Angola.

Fiorella has outdone herself in organising a very varied programme for the entire event, with, apart from workshops where Mestre will teach capoeira movements, there will also be lectures, discussions, music classes and more!

The event takes place in Lima from Sunday the 5th of October 2008 until Friday the 10th, in Miraflores. I'm going there with one of the Cusco gang, if anyone would like more information about the event, please contact Fiorella here: capoareia@gmail.com
